There have been many songs about love and loss, optimism and despair, and revival and regrets. Artists search deep within their souls to find the right words to pierce the hearts of those listening, stirring up emotions that can only be found through music.

“Cult City Shootout” follows the four gents from south Texas as they step into a wrestling ring, sing about bull riding, biker gang violence, psycho chicks and living next door to a prison. With two guitars, a bass, and drums, the Death Row Romeos aren’t “breaking down barriers” or “blazing new paths.” And they’re not “shaking up” the music industry. They don’t need to. This album is to get you from point A to point B in the quickest amount of time, so you can listen to it again and again….and again.
Producer Mike Mariconda, whose name you’ll find stamped on the back of some of the greatest head-smacking records from the New Bomb Turks, Devil Dogs and Sons of Hercules, lent his ears and fingers to the final mix and mastering of this swift, yet strapping, record.
